Dr. Snigdha Awasthi has worked at Wenlock District Hospital and KMC Attavar during her internship and has had intensive training as a Psychiatrist at Government Hospital for Mental Care (GHMC), Visakhapatnam; part of Andhra Medical College and King George Hospital, Visakhapatnam following which she worked as a Senior Resident at Manipal Tata Medical College and Tata Main Hospital, Jamshedpur; one of the busiest hospital of the region and the oldest and biggest hospital of Jamshedpur. She the moved to Mumbai to work as a Child Psychiatrist at Topiwala National Medical College and B. Y. L. Nair Charitable Hospital, Mumbai Central, Mumbai where she obtained her super-specialty degree of Post Doctoral Fellowship in Child and Adolescent Mental Health. She then moved to Ranchi to work at the Central Institute of Psychiatry (CIP), Kanke, Ranchi; the oldest and most prestigious Mental Health Institution of India, an enterprise of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), Government of India (GOI) where he has worked for a year in the General Psychiatry ward and then in the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Department.
